Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of mechanical experience in a mine setting (preferred).
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mine equipment with guidance.
• English language proficiency (oral and written).
• Pass written and practical exams.
• Boom truck operation certification required prior to advancing.
• Operate service trucks and assist in fueling equipment.
• Able to perform physical tasks and work on uneven surfaces.
• Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, etc.).

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of mechanical experience in a mine setting (preferred)
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mine equipment with guidance
• Effective communication skills in English (oral and written)
• Ability to pass written and practical exams
• Certification to operate a boom truck (must obtain prior to advancing)
• Ability to operate service trucks and assist in fueling mobile equipment
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working on uneven surfaces
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and around mining hazards
• Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety footwear, etc.)
