Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking a Mine Design and Planning Specialist to support the USTDA Global Critical Minerals Project Scoping Services. You will develop mine designs, schedules, production plans and optimization models, contributing to stakeholder consultations and reports.

The role requires strong leadership, international project experience, and compliance with global standards. This full-time position is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated period of performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; international project experience preferred.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Critical minerals, mining infrastructure, Africa, Latin America, or Indo-Pacific assignments preferred.
• This position is subject to contract-specific eligibility requirements; U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, where required by the contract.

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking an experienced Mine Design and Planning Specialistwho will support the USTDA Global Critical Minerals Project Scoping Services. You will develop mine designs, schedules, production plans and optimization models.

This position is contingent upon contract award of the contract. If awarded, the anticipated period of performance will be approximately two years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and analysis
• Support project scoping, assessments and reporting
• Contribute to stakeholder consultations and presentations
• Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices
• Support proposal and project delivery activities
