Job description

DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Min/Max Supervisor, Product Support (Overnights)

Working with wine is cool. Want to work with wine? Wineshipping is the premier logistics provider for the wine industry, trusted since 1998 to protect our clients’ brands. We combine deep expertise with innovative technology to help wineries grow.

And yes—Wineshipping is a pretty cool place to work. We’ve been voted Best Place to Work in Napa County year after year. Plus, our facilities are climate-controlled… because wine likes to stay cool (and so do we).

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Supervisor, Product Support oversees daily operations and leads teams across picking, product building, palletizing, and quality assurance. This role drives productivity, accuracy, and safety by coordinating labor, monitoring workflow, and resolving operational issues in real time.

The Supervisor provides direct coaching to associates and team leaders, communicates performance expectations, and ensures compliance with SOPs and safety standards. They track key metrics, adjust staffing as needed, and elevate issues that impact service levels or output.

Acting as the link between warehouse leadership and frontline teams, the Supervisor delivers shift updates, supports continuous improvement efforts, and maintains a disciplined, high-performance work environment.

SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

  • Keep the team SAFE. Our first responsibility is that everyone goes home in the same or better shape than they showed up that day.
  • You’ll constantly be evaluating and building your team. Sure, people come and go, but you will provide an environment where people want to be vs one where they want to leave. You will have a lot of help with this.
  • Delight our customers by hitting their targets every day, building confidence in you and in Wineshipping.
  • You will help set operational goals, and you will help us achieve them.
  • Organize products and maintain orderly item location. When we can find things quicker, our customers get things faster.
  • Do your best, every day. Only you know when you are doing your best.
  • Other things may come up from time to time, giving you exposure to things you haven’t done before. “Other duties as assigned” sometimes, but we like to keep it interesting.
  • Show up and shine- be reliably present and punctual, keeping things on track and on time.
OTHER IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF THE JOB:
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards, for yourself and for others.
  • Good attention to detail – it’s the little things that make the difference in good service and GREAT service for our clients. (The big things matter to them too, just saying…)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal process instructions. Following the process yields reliable results. Clients like “reliable”.
