Job summary

Actalent in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our collaborative team. You will create detailed drawings, develop 3D solid models, and manage engineering change orders while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities include working with multiple engineers, preparing BOMs, and supporting product development and improvement efforts using Autodesk Inventor, Vault Professional, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Skilled in 3D solid modeling and Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Visual ERP is a plus.
• Proficiency in GD&T and FEA is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems for mobile equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.
• Prepare 3D solid models and BOMs for customer orders.
• Support Engineering Change Orders using Vault Professional.
• Develop new design solutions and assist product improvement teams.
• Collaborate with engineers to define and solve problems.
• Review issue management and follow up on ECOs.
• Communicate effectively with other departments.
• Maintain safe, compliant work environment and procedures.
