The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in systems engineering, plus a Secret clearance with potential upgrade to Top Secret. On-site position with strong focus on security, integration, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret.
• Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and architecture.
• Experience with system security, data protection protocols, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement system architectures meeting performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Customer needs analysis, requirements capture, OPSCON/CONOPS development, traceability from system to component.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system capabilities and performance.
• Ensure designs align with security, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades for stability and security.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
• Document system issues, resolutions, and preventative measures.
• Manage system integration projects and ensure interoperability of technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize enhancements and align goals.
• Develop detailed system documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
