Job summary

KBR is seeking a Global Broadcast Service (GBS) SEI Engineer to support a Space Systems Command PMO at Peterson AFB, CO. The role focuses on systems engineering, integration, and documentation to ensure interoperability of MILSATCOM and NC3 space systems worldwide.

The candidate will lead engineering analyses, author technical papers, and support government processes while coordinating with DoD agencies and commercial partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or equivalent technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
• 6+ years of MILSATCOM experience.
• 4+ years in a highly competitive multi-contractor environment.
• 4+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• 4+ years of relevant systems integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DoD agencies and commercial industry stakeholders to translate requirements into design.
• Lead technical discussions on systems engineering, architecture, data transmission, troubleshooting, test and evaluation.
• Author and deliver engineering studies, white papers, and technical procedures.
• Review CDS/DRL/CIRL deliverables and provide technical evaluations for approvals.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, cybersecurity assessments, and DoDAF/plan of action documents.
• Support program planning documents like SEMP, CONOPS, ORD, TRD, SRD, and ICDs.
• Support test plans, data analysis, and deficiency reports; coordinate DT/IT/OT test activities.
• Travel up to 20% to CONUS/OCONUS locations.
