Job summary

Quantum Sky in Colorado Springs seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to support the USSF MILSATCOM program. You will act as a SME for system architectures, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 across RMF packages and security controls.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, IAT level 2 certification or higher, and 4+ years in IT/cyber with DoD documentation experience. Join a mission-driven team building secure space and network capabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years’ IT or cybersecurity experience (and/or Bachelor's degree counts for 4 years’ experience)
• Experience with Xacta and IT security lifecycle preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments of policies, procedures, and security controls.
• Prepare DoD information infrastructure documentation per NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253.
• Develop RMF packages and assist with ATO decisions and milestones.
• Monitor and assess security controls post-ATO and support incident response planning.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

IAT/IAM level 3 Certification (CISSP, OSCP, CISA, CASP, etc)
