Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking Experienced Foremen for our Millwrights/Welders/Fabricators crews on Travel Work. This is a full-time travel position with some local work, competitive pay, benefits and per diem. Must be able to travel weekly to various locations.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety standards, reading blueprints, welding and fabrication, equipment repair, and directing crew duties. Requirements include project management/supervisory experience, industrial/steel experience,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to travel weekly to multiple locations.
• Experience supervising millwrights, welders and fabricators in industrial settings.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints and direct fabrication work.
• Proven project management or supervisory experience in heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Follow project manager instructions and enforce safety standards.
• Move, install, repair, and fabricate plant equipment and components.
• Read schematics/blueprints to perform repairs and installations.
• Supervise crew and coordinate duties; ensure quality and productivity.
• Operate welding tools safely and use hand/power tools as required.

JENNMAR Services is currently seeking Experienced Foremen for our Millwrights/Welders/Fabricators crews forTravel Work.

**THIS POSITION IS A FULL TIME TRAVEL POSITION WITH SOME LOCAL WORK, COMPETITIVE PAY, BENEFITS AND PER DIEM**

**MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL EACH WEEK TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS**

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions from Project Managers and/or Management team.
• Maintaining and enforcing all safety standards.
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and installation of plant equipment, chutes and crushers
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics, blueprints and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Direct on Cleaning/preparing job sites
• Assist crew member in their duties when needed/ when manpower requires.
• Properly, efficiently and safely apply types of oils and greases according to specification of equipment/job
• Perform various physical duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must have Industrial, Steel, Iron works experience
• Must have project management/ supervisory experience.
• Must have a clean MVR and ability to maintain a valid drivers license.
• MSHA Surface and Underground certifications a plus
