Beck & Pollitzer USA seeks a Millwright Superintendent to lead millwright crews on large-scale projects, coordinating with clients and project coordinators. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and scheduling to meet project objectives.

You will oversee installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining strong client communication and adherence to site safety standards.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour Construction required.
• NCCER preferred but not required.
• 4+ years of supervision experience in a Millwright role.
• 6+ years hands-on experience as a Millwright.
• Experience with heavy equipment installation/removal in Autostore or EV battery settings is highly desirable.
• Rigging experience preferred but not required.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge of machinery and systems.
• Precision in installation, alignment and assembly of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage millwright crews, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
• Delegate tasks to crews based on strengths to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with electrical, piping, and rigging teams to keep work in sync.
• Oversee delivery and distribution of project materials.
• Regularly inspect workmanship to meet quality standards.
• Lead installations by interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Identify and resolve on-site mechanical issues to minimize delays.
• Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Keep project managers informed with milestones and issues.
• Develop and manage detailed crew schedules.
• Maintain client relationships through regular communication.
• Anticipate resource needs and coordinate procurement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address issues.
