Job summary

Beck & Pollitzer, the world’s leading provider of industrial installation and machine relocation services, is seeking a Millwright to support or deliver complex machinery projects nationwide. This role involves traveling in the US to install, align, and commission equipment for customers.

You will follow safety and quality rules, read blueprints, operate forklifts and cranes, and perform welding or cutting as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• Certifications: OSHA 10-hour Construction required.
• Experience: 4 years of Millwright work preferred but not required.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment.
• Perform alignments on motors, gearboxes, and rollers.
• Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts and cranes.
• Use precision instruments to align and measure equipment.
• Use common power tools including saws, drills, and grinders.
• Knowledge of rigging based on load requirements.
• Interpret client specifications to determine materials and job requirements.
