Job summary

Trillium Construction seeks skilled Riggers & Millwrights for a project in Red Oak, TX. On-site work responsibilities include inspecting rigging gear, selecting safe lifting methods, and guiding crane operators per load specs.

Pay is $32/hour with a $100/day per diem for all 7 days, and a 60-hour work week, Monday through Saturday. OSHA 10 required; NCCER/NCCCO certifications preferred, with pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• NCCER Advanced Rigging or NCCCO Level II certification (for Riggers).
• OSHA 10 required.
• Lift Certification and Fall Protection certification preferred.
• Pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, chains, hooks, and pulleys.
• Determine the safest and most effective methods for lifting and moving loads.
• Attach rigging to loads using hand and power tools, following load charts and engineering specifications.
• Signal or direct crane and equipment operators using standard hand signals or radio communication.
• Ensure proper load balance and weight distribution during all lifts.
• Perform pre-lift checks and participate in lift-planning meetings.
• Monitor rigging operations for safety and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly store rigging equipment.
• Immediately report any damaged or defective gear.
• Follow all company, site, and OSHA safety standards and procedures.
