Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is hiring a skilled millwright in Mississippi to plan, diagram and lay-out installations. You will use hand and power tools to size, cut, assemble and align machinery, and install components according to project specs, while verifying inventories and preparing foundations.

Expect to torque and rig equipment, direct crane operators, test installations and perform necessary adjustments. Dismantling and relocating machinery with hoists and hand tools may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for millwright's work.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery and install all other items.
• Review and verify inventory of equipment; prepare foundations and establish elevations; set and align components.
• Torque, rig and direct crane operators; test installed machinery and perform adjustments.
• Dismantle machines and move equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.
• Assemble equipment and attach to foundations per project specifications with alignment checks.
