Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a capable Millwright in Shepherd, TX to plan, diagram and lay out installation work on industrial equipment. You will measure, cut, assemble and align components, and ensure foundations and alignment meet project specs.

Responsibilities include safely using hand and power tools, coordinating with crane operators, and testing installed machinery. The role demands physical readiness and adherence to safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and related field experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for millwright's work.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery and install items.
• Review and verify inventory of equipment and components; prepare foundation, establish centerlines and elevations.
• Torque equipment, rig machinery and direct crane operators; test and adjust installed equipment as needed.
• Dismantle and move machines using tools and hoists; install foundations and align machines.
