West Fraser seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Millwright) for its on-site Guntown, MS facility. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and covers inspection, operation and preventive maintenance of machinery in a 24/7, 12-hour rotating shift environment.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, writing work orders in CMMS, coordinating small projects, and ensuring safety and cost‑effective repairs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in industrial manufacturing.
• Diploma in Maintenance/Millwright.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on drives, motors, belts.
• Read blueprints and repair manuals; write work orders.
• Operate lathe and fabricate parts to specs.
