Lexicon, Inc. in Arkansas is seeking a skilled Millwright to install and align machinery, repair equipment, and ensure safe, efficient operation. This safety-sensitive role requires reading blueprints, using precision tools, and adhering to QA/QC and OSHA standards.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a millwright required.
• Must have all the required hand tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, layout plans, or other drawings.
• Proficient with precision instruments to set and align equipment.
• Certificate of welding ability is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools; fasten to foundations or structures.
• Install machinery per layout plans, blueprints, and drawings with hoists and power tools.
• Position steel beams to support bedplates according to blueprints and schematics.
• Dismantle machines and equipment as needed.
• Construct foundations for machines using wood, cement, and steel.
• Move machinery and equipment with hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Adhere to all safety, QA/QC, and OSHA regulations.
• Overtime and punctual attendance required.

Millwright Pay Range

• $21-$25/hour
• Paid WEEKLY

Millwright Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools. Assembles machines, bolts, welds, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures.
• Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings, using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools.
• Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment, using blueprints and schematic drawings, to determine work procedures.
• Dismantles machines and other equipment.
• Constructs foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials such as wood, cement, and steel.
• Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Responsible for adhering to all company safety and QA/QC programs and OSHA regulations.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Millwright Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a millwright is required.
• Must have all the required hand tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, layout plans, or other drawings is required.
• Proficient with precision instruments to set and align equipment is required.
• Certificate of welding ability is preferred.

Millwright Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently on the job and able to climb in excess of 300 feet.
• Excessive amounts of bending, stooping, carrying, pushing and pulling of weights up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, a loud and dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields.

This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Compliance with this requirement is a fundamental condition for employment.
