Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright to install vital machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth operations and safety.

The role offers $26-$30/hr with a $100/day per diem and weekly pay, plus comprehensive benefits and plenty of training through Lexicon University. Candidates should have at least 3 years of millwright experience, be able to read blueprints, use precision instruments, and possess the necessary hand tools.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as a millwright.
• Must have all the required hand tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, layout plans, or other drawings.
• Proficient with precision instruments to set and align equipment.

Responsibilities

• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools; bolt, weld, or fasten to foundations or structures.
• Install machinery according to layout plans, blueprints, and drawings using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools.
• Position steel beams to support bedplates using blueprints and drawings to determine procedures.
• Dismantle machines and equipment.
• Construct foundations for machines with hand tools and materials.
• Move machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Adhere to safety, QA/QC, and OSHA regulations.

Millwright Pay Range:

• $26-$30/hour
• Paid WEEKLY

Millwright Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools. Assembles machines, bolts, welds, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures.
• Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings, using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools.
• Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment, using blueprints and schematic drawings, to determine work procedures.
• Dismantles machines and other equipment.
• Constructs foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials such as wood, cement, and steel.
• Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Responsible for adhering to all company safety and QA/QC programs and OSHA regulations.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Millwright Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a millwright is required.
• Must have all the required hand tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, layout plans, or other drawings is required.
• Proficient with precision instruments to set and align equipment is required.
• Certificate of welding ability is preferred.

Millwright Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently on the job and able to climb more than 300 feet.
• Must be able to pull own weight when climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding up to 150 feet.
• Excessive amounts of bending, stooping, carrying, pushing, and pulling of weights up to 50
• Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, a loud and dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields.
