Job summary

Beck & Pollitzer USA is seeking a Millwright to install, maintain, repair, and dismantle heavy industrial machinery. You will read layout plans to align and assemble components, perform precision adjustments, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

This traveling role requires operating forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes, welding, cutting, and the use of precision measuring tools. Strong safety training and the ability to read blueprints are essential for timely project completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• 10-hour Construction OSHA required.
• 4 years of Millwright experience preferred but not required.
• 1 year of Crane, Welding, Rigging, Conveyor Installation, and Theodolite experience desirable.
• Skilled in constructing, assembling, repairing, and dismantling machinery and equipment.
• Proficient in selecting appropriate rigging based on load requirements.
• Able to interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, and client specifications.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow company training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment per layout plans.
• Perform alignments on motors, gearboxes, and rollers.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and modify equipment.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and cranes on job sites.
• Weld and use cutting torch as required.
• Use precision instruments to align and measure equipment.
