Worley is seeking a Millwright Helper to support the project crew on site. This entry-level role assists with basic rigging, pipe threading, cutting, and tool handling under supervision.

You will help mechanics with assembly, demolition and site cleanup, and you’ll work in a safety-conscious environment focused on learning and craftsmanship. This position offers exposure to industrial construction tasks and potential growth within a global energy and infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; no formal experience required.
• Industrial construction/maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew with basic rigging and equipment setup.
• Thread metal pipe and conduit as directed.
• Cut pipe, conduit, metal, wood to required lengths.
• Operate fork truck and light vehicles as needed.
• Use hand and power tools safely and maintain them.
• Support mechanics in assembly, demolition and cleanup.
• Maintain building and grounds as required.

Position Summary

Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.

Primary Responsibilities

• Basic rigging, come-along, etc.
• Thread metal pipe, conduit
• Cut pipe, conduit, metal, wood
• Fork truck and pickup truck driving
• Use basic tools and care of the tools
• Use of hand electric power tools and pneumatic tools
• Assist mechanics in assembly and work performance, demolition, cleaning, removing debris
• Building and ground maintenance
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Qualifications

• Entry Level
• Industrial construction/maintenance industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of fire protecting, different types of metals, bearings, mechanical seals, tandem seals, compression packing, multi-stage pumps, vertical pumps, different types of drive coupling, cooling tower fan units, gearboxes, and agitators
