Worley is seeking a Millwright Helper to support the assigned crew on site in Louisiana. The role involves basic rigging, piping tasks, material handling, and assisting mechanics with assembly and maintenance activities.

Candidates should have a minimum of three years in industrial construction or maintenance, with knowledge of various mechanical components and safety practices. This position contributes to building and sustaining our energy and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of fire protection, different metals, bearings, seals, pumps, drive couplings, cooling tower components.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic rigging and use come-along equipment.
• Thread metal pipe and conduit.
• Cut pipe, conduit, metal, wood.
• Drive forklift and pickup truck as needed.
• Use hand and power tools safely and maintain them.
• Assist mechanics in assembly, demolition, cleaning and debris removal.
• Support building and grounds maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.

Primary Responsibilities

• Basic rigging, come-along, etc.
• Thread metal pipe, conduit
• Cut pipe, conduit, metal, wood
• Fork truck and pickup truck driving
• Use basic tools and care of the tools
• Use of hand electric power tools and pneumatic tools
• Assist mechanics in assembly and work performance, demolition, cleaning, removing debris
• Building and ground maintenance
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
• Knowledge of fire protecting, different types of metals, bearings, mechanical seals, tandem seals, compression packing, multi-stage pumps, vertical pumps, different types of drive coupling, cooling tower fan units, gearboxes and agitators
