IMI Industrial Services Group seeks a local Millwright Foreman to lead and coordinate installation, alignment, and maintenance of machinery in the Gainesville area. You will supervise a crew, review blueprints, and ensure quality workmanship.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, NCCER or AWS certification preferred, and a strong commitment to safety and on-time project delivery. We offer competitive benefits and a stable, family-like team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience as millwright or foreman.
- NCCER or AWS certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Strong safety record and adherence to procedures.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate activities of staff engaged in fabricating, aligning, installing, and welding machinery.
- Inspect quality of work and ensure on-time completion.
- Serve as liaison between customers, vendors, project managers and staff.
- Maintain production schedules and adjust crews as needed.
- Install and maintain machinery according to plans using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
