Job summary

IMI Industrial Services Group is seeking a full-time Millwright Foreman local to the Greenville, SC area. The role oversees fabrication, installation, alignment, and maintenance of machinery per construction plans and drawings.

Applicants should have 3+ years' experience and NCCER or AWS certification or related training preferred. Must be capable of climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors/indoor environments with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or millwright roles.
• NCCER or AWS certification or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership as Quality Lead to supervise and coordinate staff in laying out, fabricating, aligning, joining, installing, repairing, and welding materials.
• Apply basic math arithmetic to work-related situations.
• Serve as liaison between customers, vendors, project managers, and employees regarding current and future projects.
• Assist workers and inspect the quality of all work.
• Analyze and resolve work-related problems.
• Review materials received at the jobsite for accuracy and check equipment for proper working conditions.
• Maintain time and tracks production; adjust crew schedules to meet deadlines.
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment according to plans, blueprints, and drawings using hoists, lifts, hand tools, and power tools.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, gearboxes and pumps.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.

Education

3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or millwright roles
