Job summary

MacEwen Agricentre Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, follow preventative maintenance schedules, and ensure safety compliance.

The role involves diagnosing machine issues, ordering replacement parts, and performing lock-out and testing procedures. The position requires a Red Seal Millwright, 3+ years of experience, a Class G license, and a willingness to work on-site with potential on-call and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Certified Red Seal Millwright certification is required.
• 3+ years of work experience in maintenance roles.
• Valid Class G driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent general maintenance skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD is an asset.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Identify weakness in machinery and reorder parts to maintain inventory.
• Perform lock-out, dismantling, adjusting, testing and reassembly of machinery.
• Be on-call and available for weekend work as required.
• Travel to off-site locations for maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and ensure proper documentation.
