Job summary

Dearing Compressor & Pump is seeking an assembler to perform initial assembly steps of compressor packages, mounting compressors and engines to skids, and ensuring proper alignment per specifications.

You will study blueprints, verify dimensions, and use precision tools to meet tight tolerances, while working with cranes and lifting equipment in a manufacturing environment in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and specifications to position compressors and engines on skids.
• Verifies dimensions, squareness, and reference points per drawings.
• Uses micrometers and calipers to read measurements to the thousandth.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints to determine proper compressor and engine placement on skids.
• Verify requirements such as dimensions and squareness.
• Operate crane to mount components and align with bases.
• Level skids and pour concrete for footing as required.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
