Dearing Compressor & Pump Co is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in Youngstown, Ohio. The role involves assembling compressor packages and performing quality tests to ensure all components function correctly. Candidates will need to work at heights and may operate overhead cranes.

Job Description

• Assemble compressor packages, ensuring all components are properly organized and installed.
• Perform quality testing to verify functionality and performance standards.
• Disassemble compressor packages after initial testing.
• Sort and distribute components to departments such as paint and hydrotesting.
• Retrieve parts from departments and reassemble compressor packages on the shop floor.
• Conduct final assembly and assist with additional quality testing.
• Disassemble units again to prepare for shipment to customer sites.
• Maintain organization and accuracy throughout all assembly stages.
• Participate in cross-training across multiple tasks and departments to support team operations.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and JLG/scissor lifts is a plus.
• Work in a 100% drug-free workplace, including testing for THC.
