Job summary

Ledcor in Hawthorne, NV seeks an experienced Millwright to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair crushers and processing systems in a fast-paced surface mining environment. You’ll take ownership of work, prioritize safety, and prevent equipment downtime while supporting production targets.

Responsibilities include inspections, welding tasks, and servicing jaw/cone crushers, conveyors, and rotating equipment. Pre-trip checks and accurate records are essential, with long shifts and LOA benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience maintaining equipment in industrial or surface mining environments (crushing plant experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience with crushers, conveyors, and rotating equipment in production-driven settings.
• Work independently while collaborating with operations and maintenance teams.
• Meet site access requirements, including respirator fit testing if required.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing completed.
• MSHA Part 48 certification preferred (training available).

• Maintain and service jaw/cone crushers, conveyors, belts, gearboxes, bearings, chutes, liners.
• Complete welding tasks as required (MIG, Stick, OxyAcetylene).
• Perform pre-trip inspections and FLHA to identify and control risks.
• Read schematics/diagrams to diagnose issues and determine repair methods.
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance including vibration analysis; align, test, and adjust equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with operations and maintenance teams.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on crushing and processing equipment to keep production on target


• Maintain and service key components including jaw/cone crushers, conveyors, belts, gearboxes, bearings, chutes, and liners


• Complete welding and cutting tasks as required (MIG, Stick, OxyAcetylene)


• Conduct pre-trip inspections and Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA) to identify and control risks before work begins


• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and manuals to diagnose issues and determine repair methods


• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance (including vibration analysis), and align, test, and adjust equipment for reliability


• Maintain accurate maintenance records, report equipment issues, and communicate effectively with operations and maintenance teams

Qualifications

Working Conditions

• 10-12 hour shifts on varying schedules, including potential night shifts


• Overtime paid after 40 hours/week
