Job summary

Inland Empire Paper Company in Millwood, Washington, is seeking an experienced Journeyman Millwright to plan and execute complex equipment maintenance on pulp and paper systems. The role requires troubleshooting, installation, and overhaul of equipment, with a focus on precision and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial millwright experience required.

• Proficient reading comprehension to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications as well as read and interpret technical manuals.
• Experienced in using industrial hand tools and power tools as well as precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, levels, and alignment tools.
• Thorough knowledge of load-bearing capabilities, fluid mechanics (hydraulic and pneumatic), and all components involved in process such as valves, cylinders, conveyors and compressors. Able to work with precise limits and standards of accuracy.

$38.12 + ($41.21) + shift differential per hour DOE. We are seeking an experienced JourneymanMillwrightto plan and execute complex equipment maintenance.

Tasks include the safe install, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul of pulp and paper equipment. This includes move, assemble, disassemble, install, test, inspect, repair, maintain and align machinery and equipment such as gearboxes, rolls, conveyors, compressors, bearings, shafts, and other equipment related to pulp and paper manufacturing using tools, hoists, pulleys, dollies, rollers, trucks and precision measuring equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial millwright experience required.

Additional Information

Journeyman pay rate is $38.12 per hour with ability to earn additional $3 ($41.21) per hour for plus rated skills.

Inland Empire Paper Company continues to offer excellentbenefits to hourly employees after 90 days of employment including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, 401(k) retirement plan and 13 paid holidays per year.

Schedule includes 4-10 hour days per week, with occasional weekend duty that is preceded by 6 days off. Additional shifts available.
