Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking a full-time Millwright Mechanic for an established manufacturer in Quincy, Massachusetts. The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of equipment. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED along with several years of mechanical maintenance experience, particularly with industrial pumps. Competitive pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits starting on hire date.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably with industrial pumps.
• Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on fractionation, hydrolysis, and distillation systems.

Trillium Construction is hiring a full time Millwright Mechanic for an established manufacturer in the Quincy area!

Candidates will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, installations and monitoring of a variety of equipment, systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on systems to include: fractionation, hydrolysis, separations, distillations and others
• Perform repairs on pumps (mostly centrifugal), valves and steam traps
• Other refinery equipment
• Motors, shaft alignments, lathes, milling machines
• Lubricating equipment
• Flange work
• Perform work on scaffolding and rigging

Pay range is $30.00-40.00/hr with incredible benefits! Schedule will be Mon-Fri - 6:00am-2:30pm with occasional on call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5+ Experience with mechanical maintenance - industrial pump experience preferred
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, shop tools and similar
• Strong preference for experience with manual mills and lathes
• Perform preventative maintenance work utilizing work orders and blueprints.
• Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet and in all sorts of weather/environment conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
