Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is looking for experienced Millwrights to join our team in Knoxville. Ideal candidates will have over 4 years of industrial experience, strong reliability, and teamwork abilities. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and performing maintenance on various equipment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Millwright or similar position.

Your pay: Depends on your experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings for construction machines.
• Rigging, moving, and setting equipment such as HVAC units using cranes and helicopters.
• General maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Demolition as needed.
• Take accurate measurements using precision tools.
• Drilling, welding, bolting, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain safety at all times; safety is our #1 priority.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Millwright or similar position.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to keep a drug‑free workplace.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in extremes of heat, cold, bad weather, indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work well in confined spaces and work above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
• Good motor control, vision, and hand‑eye coordination.
