SUMMARY
Trained in assembly operations of products such as interior & exterior doors, metal & patio doors,special order doors, as well as millwork trim molding orders. Able to perform service in field onany Millwork issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This job has no supervisoryresponsibilities. Others duties may be assigned.
• Drives truck or van to repair stock and special order doors, including millwork trim for McCoycustomers, both McCoy retail facilities and commercial contractors.
• Places all required and necessary parts for McCoy’s products together in specified relationshipto each other as instructed.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, rivet, compound, trim, saw, or otherwise fasten required partstogether.
• Must be able to work on assembly line where tasks and job duties may vary as different productlines are produced.
• Attends all millwork meetings and training sessions as required by management.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures of McCoy Corporation while carrying out responsibilities
of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months relatedexperience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability towrite simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one- on-one & smallgroup situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, & percent, and ability to draw &interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems, involving several concrete variables instandardized situations.
• General carpentry & millwork knowledge preferred.
WORK AVAILABILITY
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level, as is determined bymanagement.
• Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, orsuch other hours per day or hours per week as the employer determines are necessary or desirable tomeet business needs.
• Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or week as the employer determinesis necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
• Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines arenecessary or desirable to meet business needs.
