Responsibilities

• Responsible for warehouse, trucking, maintenance, and safety program functions.
• Manage order fulfillment and on-time delivery, including product selection, loading, and transportation.
• Resolve shipment or delivery issues, including order backlog problems.
• Manage transportation, including negotiating carrier contracts, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations, and legal load requirements.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including receipt of products, purchase order reconciliation, inventory control, storage design, and loading for shipment; train, guide, and coach personnel.
• Manage warehouse facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds to ensure a safe, OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Oversee loss control activities such as fire prevention, theft prevention, and fleet safety.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: College degree or equivalent work experience in a related job function.

Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than five (5) years of experience in a related job function. Professional certification may be required.
