Job summary

Jaynes Corporation is seeking a versatile project coordinator/manager to support management and operations on multiple projects. The role focuses on prioritizing tasks, communicating effectively, and promoting leadership values on job sites and in the main office.

You will assist in coordinating estimates, management, production, and engineering, while performing cost analysis, budget forecasting, and change order management as you gain mastery of project scopes, schedules, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred or pursuing.
  • Experience in commercial casework/millwork fabrication is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening and have a valid driver’s license.

Job description

Essential Functions
  • Support management/operation to prioritize multiple projects, responsibilities and deadlines, while remaining highly organized
  • Maintain and promote a culture of discipline and effective communication
  • Promote/display operational leadership and values
  • Gain knowledge of all assigned project scopes, schedules, deliverables, and personnel
  • Assist in coordination between estimating, management, production team and engineering
  • Assist with planning, leadership, and coordination of all upcoming and current projects
  • Perform cost analysis, budget forecasting, estimating, and change order management (expected if above functions are mastered)
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of commercial casework and millwork industry fabrication and installation methods

Supervisory Responsibility

This position requires full or part time management and supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates on project jobsites and in a main office setting.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must complete minor lifting duties. Most work is office oriented.

This is a full/ part-time non-union position.

This position requires some travel.

Required Education and Experience

Currently going to school and working on a Bachelor level degree with an emphasis in business administration, marketing or journalism and any of relevant experience recommended but not required.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Must pass a pre-employment screen, including but not limited to: drug and alcohol screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, reference check and physical (if applicable).
  • Current and valid drivers’ license in the state of permanent residence (must be insurable by Jayne’s automobile insurance carrier in order to drive a Jayne’s vehicle).
  • Must have a drive towards the Construction Industry.
