Boise Cascade Company in Sugar Land, TX, seeks a Millwork Material Handler / Forklift Operator to load and move materials, verify orders, and support shop operations in a high-traffic warehouse.

You will operate sit-down or counterbalance forklifts, follow OSHA safety procedures, and collaborate with teammates to fulfill daily orders while maintaining a clean work area. Prior forklift experience and familiarity with millwork will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions.
• Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions.
• Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance) preferred.
• Familiarity with millwork preferred.
• Experience using an inventory control scanner (RFN).
• Able to measure and calculate material lengths.

Responsibilities

• Receive, select, and load materials.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading.
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.
• Work with team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily.
• Maintain clean working area.
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance).
• Perform daily safety checks on forklifts.
• Perform basic maintenance to assigned motorized equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
