Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring for a full-time millwork shop associate. The role involves operating forklift and wood cutting machinery, maintaining production records, and ensuring safety around moving parts.

You will work Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm, with limited travel and opportunities to learn on various moulding processes. A strong mechanical aptitude and detail orientation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and know maintenance needs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read blueprints and measure.
• Computer basics required.
• Detail-oriented; able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Forklift training/certification preferred.
• Experience with moulders/knife grinding a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forklift Operation to move materials and finished goods.
• Communicate with customers and fellow associates to ensure requirements are met.
• Operate wood machining equipment per specifications and safety rules.
• Maintain production records and logs for traceability.
