EastCoast Builders is seeking a skilled Millwork Journeyman to perform complex millwork installations on high-end projects. You will read blueprints, joinery, and manage project portions to meet quality and schedule goals.

Qualifications

• Expertise in custom joinery and advanced assembly techniques.

• Experience with high-end commercial millwork projects preferred; leadership/mentoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex millwork installations, including cabinetry, moldings, paneling, and custom joinery installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
• Lead small teams or oversee portions of larger projects to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
• Regularly inspect tools, equipment, and work areas, reporting any safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Perform self-inspections on completed work to ensure precise alignments, smooth finishes, and structural integrity.
• Lift, carry, and position materials up to 50 pounds.

This position requires expertise in custom joinery, advanced assembly, and blueprint interpretations. Prior experience working on high-end commercial millwork projects preferred. Experience leading small project teams or mentoring junior installers is a plus.

This position has a pay range of $35.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience, in addition to an extensive benefits package that includescompany stock, and a profit-sharing bonus.
