Job summary

EastCoast Builders is seeking a skilled Millwork Craftsman to join our team in Vermont. You will assist in installing cabinetry, moldings, trim, and architectural woodwork, using hand tools and power equipment with an eye for detail.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of construction or millwork experience, are at least 18, and can lift up to 50 pounds. We offer an extensive benefits package, stock options, and a profit‑sharing bonus for those who contribute to our high‑quality projects.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic knowledge of woodworking tools (hand tools, power drills, sanders, nail guns).
• At least 1 year of experience in construction, carpentry or millwork preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all stages of the installation process with senior team members.
• Assist in preparing and installing millwork components (cabinetry, moldings, trim, architectural woodwork).
• Ensure materials are correctly prepared and defect-free before installation.
• Maintain and calibrate machinery and tools; ensure safety at the job site.
• Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy against drawings and specs.
• Lift, carry and position materials up to 50 pounds.

$1,500 sign on bonus!!!! EastCoast Builders is seeking a skilled Millwork Craftsman to join our team – someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, using high-quality materials and advanced woodworking techniques to create and install custom millwork. The Craftsman will assist in millwork installations, perform essential physical labor, and maintain a clean and safe job site. Under the supervision of senior team members, you will develop hands‑on skills in woodworking, precision cutting, and assembling millwork components. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to grow within the trade and gain valuable experience.

Candidates must be 18 years of age and demonstrate basic knowledge of woodworking tools, including hand tools, power drills, sanders, and nail guns. At least one year of experience in construction, carpentry, or millwork is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with senior team members to support all stages of the installation process.
