Job summary

Builders FirstSource in American Fork, Utah, is seeking a Millwork Estimator to produce accurate quantity takeoffs for residential and multifamily millwork, including interior doors, exterior doors, trim, and moldings. You’ll review plans, verify details, and support sales and operations.

The role emphasizes meticulous estimating, use of Bluebeam, and following procedures, with base salary $45k-$55k plus monthly incentives and benefits. Experience in millwork or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing residential construction plans.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs or estimating.
• Experience in millwork, finish carpentry, doors, trim, framing, or construction-related fields.
• Experience using Bluebeam Revu or similar plan review software.

Responsibilities

• Review residential and multifamily construction plans and specifications.
• Perform detailed material quantity takeoffs for: interior doors, exterior doors, interior trim, exterior trim, moldings, hardware, related millwork products.
• Accurately quantify material requirements using Bluebeam software and company estimating tools.
• Verify takeoffs align with plan details, elevations, schedules, and specifications.
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, and plan conflicts that may impact material quantities.
• Maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of estimating tasks.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and management to support project needs.
