Sunpro in Cedar City, UT is hiring a Millwork Driver to safely deliver building materials to customers and uphold company standards. You will drive box trucks and flat beds, perform daily safety checks, maintain a DOT medical card, and ensure accurate delivery tickets with excellent customer service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and a proven safety-conscious mindset.

JOB TITLE:Millwork Driver

FUNCTION:The Millwork Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of building materials and products as specified by customer orders and Company standards.

LOCATION:Cedar City, UT

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
• Safely drive and operate box truck and flat bed.
• Assume responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of company vehicle.
• Perform daily pre and post safety checklists on box truck and flat bed.
• Observe and obey all traffic laws in the operation of assigned company vehicle.
• Record the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) log at the end of each shift.
• Record all information on each delivery ticket and turn in a signed delivery ticket.
• Deliver orders/building materials to each customer according the specifications on the delivery ticket.
• Provide exceptional customer service and team support.
• Advise management of any customer situations beyond scope of authority.
• Maintain a department of transportation (DOT) medical card.
• Maintain insurable driving record.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns.
• Operate equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.
• Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Clean driving record.
• Track record of safety-conscious performance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 50 -70 lbs of force regularly.
• Repetitive motion associated with operating a forklift and other equipment.
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
• Outdoor working conditions, sometimes in extreme climates.
