Responsibilities

  • Construct doors and windows made to order, checking product and raw material specifications (lengths, angles).
  • Set up door machinery and equipment to specifications.
  • Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Load and unload inventory as needed.
  • Apply mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
  • Manage and report on production, quality, and order fulfillment processes and performance.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
  • Follow safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • May train, assign, and oversee work of others, ensuring work is completed to specifications.
  • Assist the location manager and sales team to promote and describe fabrication processes.
  • Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory, materials replenishment, and pricing.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and process improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED, or two years of equivalent work experience. Ability to understand and communicate safety and work instructions. Alertness and adaptability to warehouse routines. Physical exertion environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Over three years of related experience. Technical certification or associate's degree may be required.
