Job summary

Ameriscan Designs Inc. is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to ensure timely and safe delivery of custom millwork products to client sites. The role focuses on excellent customer service, efficient routing, and maintaining product integrity during transit.

You will transport, load and unload materials, verify shipments, and complete delivery documentation while adhering to safety standards. A 40-hour work week with early starts (as early as 6am) is required, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid C-class license required with clean driving record.
• 2 years of related experience preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a 40-hour week with deliveries as early as 6am; occasional overtime/weekend work may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver custom millwork products to job sites.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules."
• Load, unload, and handle millwork products with care; use equipment like hand trucks and dollies.
• Communicate professionally with clients upon delivery and verify contents of inventory loads.
• Complete and maintain delivery documentation including logs and customer signatures.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist Assembly department during downtime.
