Job summary

Stevens Industries is seeking a Millwork Engineering CAD Technician to translate designs into production-ready drawings and data. You will partner with PMs, engineers, and production teams to bring custom millwork and cabinetry projects to life, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.

The role emphasizes CAD proficiency, reading complex documents, and collaboration across departments. A hands-on, detail-oriented mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• CAD drafting, millwork, cabinetry, woodworking engineering, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microvellum, or similar software.
• Ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documents.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using engineering software.
• Review drawings and project requirements to ensure production readiness.
• Develop routing data, cut patterns, bills of material, and machine code.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Review production drawings and documentation for accuracy before release.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing during production.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and boost efficiency.
• Ensure designs are practical, accurate, and ready to be built.
