Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking an Assembly I in Lancaster, PA to assemble millwork components and operate cutting tools. You will prepare products for shipment, inspect quality, and repair or rework items as needed. The role emphasizes safe operation and following company policies.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience. Forklift certification may be required depending on branch rules, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1–2 years' related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write correspondence and present information clearly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Assembling components of millwork products such as exterior and interior door units.
• Operating machinery that modifies the product (e.g., chop saws).
• Preparing the product for shipment by applying casing, sleeves, labels, etc.
• Inspecting quality and accuracy of assembled product through the process.
• Repairing and disassembling returned or defective millwork for resale or stock.
• Performing routine maintenance on tools and machines and reporting issues.
