Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Mill/Mixer Operator to manufacture high-quality ink. You will learn to operate a mill, handle batching, packaging, and TPM activities.

The role involves weighing batches, mixing, operating a Hockmeyer mill, maintaining equipment, recording data, and supporting continuous improvement. Training is provided, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 months of related work experience.
• Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Be reliable to work assigned shift.

• Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
• Be able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams.
• Have good attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
• Package finished product in various containers and applying labels.
• Cleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards.
• Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities.
• Weigh-Up Batches: Following proper process order of addition. Shifting between auto and manual steps.
• Mix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOPs
• Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards
• Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
• Canning
• Operating the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
• Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data
• Completing scheduled maintenance and utilizing troubleshooting procedures.

We are seeking a Mill/Mixer Operator to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:

• Running batches of ink at proper mill settings
