Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Mill/Mixer Operator to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill and TPM activities, handling batches, weighing, canning, and packaging with proper safety.

You will maintain equipment, support TPM standards, perform QC sampling, and assist with maintenance and repacks, contributing to a reliable production line in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Have 3 months of related work experience.
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills.
  • Pay attention to detail.
  • Be reliable to work assigned shift.
  • Be flexible to work overtime as required.
  • Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
  • Be able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Have good attendance and punctuality.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Running batches of ink at proper mill settings.
  • Packaging finished product in various containers and applying labels.
  • Cleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards.
  • Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities.
  • Weigh-Up Batches: Following proper process order of addition; shifting between auto and manual steps.
  • Mix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOPs.
  • Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE standards.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times.
  • Canning.
  • Operating: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
  • Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
  • Completing scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Helping with repacks

Job Description

  • Mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background
