This is a 2nd shift position

Responsibilities

  • Setting up new and repeat jobs in a variety of machines.
  • Measures, examines and tests completed units to detect defects, and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Complete all required shop paperwork accurately and neatly.
  • Read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.
  • Load and run parts.
  • Evaluate repeat jobs for opportunities to reduce time and motions.
  • Gather and assemble tooling for jobs.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality and Management on department and shop initiatives.
  • Cleans, lubricates and maintains machines tools and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains and foreign material.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Education
  • 5-10 years related manufacturing experience
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Possesses some computer skills and is able to learn new skills as needed
  • Must be able to read a dial caliper or equivalent and measure in thousands of an inch
  • General knowledge of Records Control, Statistical Tools, ISO Awareness, Safety Right to Know and Employee Handbook.
  • Working knowledge of Document Control, Customer Prod/Equip, Product ID, Process Control, Inspection, Calibration, Inspection Status..
  • The qualifications listed above are guidelines. Other combinations of education and experience could provide the necessary knowledge skills and abilities to perform this job.

Background checks and drug screening are required for this position due to the nature of customer requirements and safety.

Salary: $34.00 per hour
