rms Company, part of the Cretex Medical family, seeks a Milling CNC Machinist to operate CNC equipment and support medical device component manufacturing. You will perform quality checks on parts, maintain machine performance, and complete tool changes to ensure production quality and on‑time delivery.

Shifts available include 4th shift (Fri–Sun, 6am–6pm). Strong math, GD&T, blueprint reading, and measurement tool proficiency are required to succeed in this role within a collaborative

• Operator experience with Milling CNC machines.
• Strong math background; knowledge of GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using a microscope.
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer and caliper.

Milling CNC Machinist Position Summary

The Milling CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.

Shifts Available

4th shift – Friday–Sunday, 6 am–6 pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate Milling CNC machines
• Perform quality inspection on completed parts
• Perform preventative maintenance on Milling CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
• Complete tool changes

Qualifications

• Operator experience with Milling CNC machines
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using a microscope
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
• Previous experience with tight tolerances
• Programming experience with Milling CNC machines
• Experience with set‑up on Milling CNC machines
• Experience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC machines

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted periodically to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.

Pay Range

USD $21.20 – $40.67 /hr.

Compensation Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market‑based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. Offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
