Job summary

Harris Feeding Co is seeking an experienced Roller Mill Operator in Coalinga, CA. In this role, you will operate grain processing equipment to provide quality rolled corn for cattle feeding. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will work closely with the Mill Manager and supervisors to ensure optimal flake quality.

This position requires physical strength to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to work in various weather conditions with animals and equipment. Team orientation and organizational skills are essential for success.

Job Summary

The Roller Mill Operator is responsible for running grain processing equipment including grain receiving pits, elevators, conveyor augers, steam controls, mill rolls, peg‑feeder motors, and more. Rolled corn is the foundation of this cattle feeding enterprise and attention to detail is important. The roller mill operator will work under the guidance of the Mill Manager, Mill Production Supervisor and Mill Mixer Operator. Flake quality is top priority but the roller Mill Operator must be able to work well with others and take direction. The Roller Mill Operator must keep their area and equipment clean and assist the maintenance team with routine or required maintenance.
