Job summary

Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced Mill Turn CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate 7-axis CNC tools for turning, drilling and tapping on complex shaft seals. The role requires reading blueprints, loading correct material, securing parts, verifying dimensions, and performing first-part inspection within a production cell.

Candidate must have five years of experience with 7-axis CNC machines, be able to handle multiple machines, and use precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience operating 7-axis CNC machines with multiple spindles.
• Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to set up and run multiple machines in a cell.
• Capto C-6 interface experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple 7-axis CNC machines in a work cell.
• Load correct material per work order and secure in fixture.
• Verify programmed dimensions and first-part buy-off by inspection.
• Deburr parts and complete required ERP paperwork.
