Trinity Products in Saint Charles, MO, is seeking a Mill Operator on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 1:00pm–9:30pm) to operate our steel-pipe mill and related heavy equipment. The role emphasizes a mechanical mindset, willingness to learn, and safety-conscious work in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate the mill machine and related heavy equipment.
• Use hand tools and assess hydraulic/electrical systems of the mill.
• Utilize computer apps and perform calculations as needed.
• Handle cutting torches, plasma cutters and welding equipment.
• Support the manufacturing process of helical steel pipe.
• May operate a crane and forklift (training provided).

As aMill Operator on 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 9:30pm) you are at the heart of our steel mill, responsible for tasks related to the operation of our weld steel-pipe mill machine as well as various heavy equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize various hand tools and equipment.
• Operation of various hydraulic and electrical systems related to the mill machine.
• Utilize various computer apps and programs.
• Perform various mathematical calculations.
• Utilize cutting torches, plasma cutters and welding equipment.
• Perform other various tasks within the manufacturing process of helical steel pipe.
• Ability to operate a crane and forklift (training provided).

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalence
• Steel toe boots and sleeved shirts required are the employee’s responsibility
• Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, protective gloves provided by Trinity
• Must be able to work in changing ambient temperatures.
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Previous experience working with mechanical tools and environments.
• Must have a willingness to train and learn new equipment.
