Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a dependable feed mill operator to manufacture livestock feed and handle related paperwork. You will load/unload trucks, operate scales, and assist with forklift operations in a safety-focused warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, be team players, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision during night shifts from Sunday evening through Thursday morning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture livestock feed and complete related paperwork.

Approximate Shift Hours

Sunday 8 PM to 7 AM and Monday thru Thursday 11PM to 7AM

Position Overview

Primary duties to include the manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork. Additional duties to include loading/unloading trucks, customer service, grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, and other related feed production duties, forklift operation and grain handling.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Must be able to work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping items.
• Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distribute feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Have an understanding of safe working conditions and operations of vehicles.
• Be willing and able to work well with others, to take and give constructive criticism, and to lend a helping hand.
• Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.
• Mechanical interest and aptitude are beneficial.

• Must be team oriented.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma. Agriculture background a plus.
