Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a warehouse/mill associate to manufacture livestock feed and manage related paperwork in a plant environment.

Hours are generally 7:00 pm to 3:00 am, but could adjust based on business needs, and duties include loading/unloading, customer service, and general feed production tasks. You will operate scales, assist with feeding operations, perform basic preventative maintenance, and ensure accurate records and paperwork while following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; agriculture background a plus.
• Computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Understanding of safe working conditions and operation of vehicles.
• Team oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with little supervision.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
• Understand feed ingredients and handling techniques.
• Distribute feed to feed trucks.
• Operate equipment safely and follow laws and safety rules.
• Complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

• Primary duties to include the manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork.
• Additional duties to include loading/unloading trucks, customer service, grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, and other related feed production duties, forklift operation and grain handling.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping items.
• Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distribute feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Educations and Experience
